damn cold weather

make sure your oil pressure sender wire hasn’t come off. if you are leaking any oil on it it probably slipped off.

no the sensor works fine, no oil leaks, just no oil pressure

I have a used SR20 alternator

make sure you got a thin oil in there. the engine wasn’t really designed for our cold climate! i’d use a 0W30

The oil pressure light on an SR goes off at 4 PSI. So basicly you have no pressure at all.

I would change your oil and see what happens. Go with a 5w30 or 0w30 for this time of year. The SR’s really like to destroy their pumps if you use thick oil in cold temperatures.

But if you do need an oil pump i have one

i just picked up an lower rad hose heater from crappy tire and its gets hot quickly.

well i did an oil change ( i listened to rob and threw 5w30 in) put a magnetic block heater on the oil pan, put the inline rad heater in and let it sat for a few hours started it up and the oil pump went way up. so hopefu;;y i’m good to go. now i just gotta crawl under the car every nite to put the damn block heater on…lol
