Dana 35 = Poop

Well basically my rearend has been making a thud ever since I got the Jeep and the buddy I bought it off of thought it was the u-joints. So I go home from work and go to check it out and the universals are fine so i’m like fuck it and rip off the rear end cover and look what I found the cross sheaft pin is working itself from side to side.LOL!Guess its time to upgrade to the 8.8

niccceeeee…

good job

:rofl: Nice, something breaking is a great time to upgrade it.

Jeep = Problem.

They should just come with a lifetime warranty… or at least a guarantee in the manual about a 100% chance of something breaking or going bad.

wrong forum jackass,dont be late

I knew the rearends in these things were junk from the begining and am planning to upgrade just sooner than I thought.

:yesdaddy: lol see you at 10:00, I mean 9:00

8am and work through lunch also

shut ur mouth, dont u have to work?

shouldnt u be out work’n too? i thought ur work day started at like 6am ?

Dana 30 HP front and Dana 35 rear axles are really light duty…they should have used the 44 in the back for all these vehicles.

XJ’s came with 44’s, not easy to find though. You could also find a chrysler 8.25 fairly easily which is at least stronger than a 35.

I ran 35" baja claws on my grand cherokee for the longest time, LOCKED with a LOW pinion 30 front and d35 rear!

What year is the jeep btw ?

its a 93 4.0 auto country edition with power everything

correction

kool…BJ do u know how much that Green jeep is lifted & what size tires are on it that was up at JJ’s today
