I hope this fight lives up to even 10% of the hype. I think Oscar is over the hill a bit and even at his prime probably couldn’t take today’s Mayweather.

i think hoya has the edge…mayweather is fast but hoya’s experience will win out. i think jr. has more power too so i guess he could always catch one shot. if you look at his past fights though he has a wild hook and tends to leave himself open so maybe hoya gets lucky. ugh i dunno…it is gonna be sweet.
anyone been following the show on HBO? they have done a really good job of covering the training and doing some back-stories. i love the show so maybe thats why i am so fired up about the fight in which case congrats to HBO for good marketing strategy…hopefully it works towards improving the boxing ratings cuz boxing is taking a shit in the past 3 years.

i personally believe de la hoya is going to get punished… he isn’t fast enough to keep up, and at those weight classes, the champs are usually all about defense. PBF has excellent defense and will most likely win on points.
and just for the record, PBF puts on some really boring fights.
