I would say it is about $8,000 before tax and interest depending on the rate he gets which I am sure is over 10%…prob like 15-20%

ya really… my friend got RAPED by JD Byrider without first asking me if it was a car worth buying… he bought a 99 grand am coupe with 66k miles for $16,000  then the motor blew up 2 weeks later ( crankshaft was off balance and threw a rod) but they replaced it free of charge (im guessing since they knew they are already giving him the shaft)

it’s actually 7 grand for the car before tax and tags and a 21% interest rate im not to happy with the payments either nor the total of the car after it’s paid off but my credit is really shitty and i need a car before the end of the month cause my civic runs out of inspection and i allready got 1500 into the car and don’t feel like putting anymore money into it. not only that if i get this car i can make some payments on it to start to build my credit and then take it to another dealership later on down the road and trade it in atleast then i will have a little more credit than what i have now.

jd byrider? that’s the only place that i know of.

your friends name wouldn’t happened to be dave would it cause i work with someone that had the same thing happen to them.

I dont give a fuck what the car is with before interest. you’re still paying 11,000 for a pile of shit.

You’d be much better off just buying a $1,000 car.

Just seems like a horrible deal to me. I agree w/ Darkstar, I’d rather get a $1K beater than be ass raped by some stealership. IMO. Get a low rate credit card to build your credit. Pay it off each month. That’s a way better idea than paying 11K for a 10 year old car :dunno:

nope, abe. he got a job somewhere out near robert morris selling cars at a chevy dealer

do you know where i can find a $1,000 car that is inspected, in good shape, one that doesn’t brake down every other week, use oil, and doesn’t need any work??? im not rich (obviously) and im not saying that anyone else on here is either, but i can’t fucking afford to get a $1,000 car that is going to need work every other week, if i wanted that i would keep the car that i have now. im sorry if im sounding like i don’t give a fuck about what your saying but like i said i don’t have the money to go out and buy a “beater car.” I believe that i said that i don’t like the payment method nor the total amount for the car but it’s all i can do for now. if you know where i can get a $1,000 car that is in good running shape let me know.:stick:

What about h22’s Escort she is selling on here?

You do not want to get into a payment like that on something that isnt worth shit to begin with.

If someone other than that getto dealer were to be selling that monte they would be getting 2-3k max

DUDE! DON’T DO IT! :nono:

If you buy that Monte you will be getting a car that brakes down every other week, uses oil, and needs work - ALONG WITH a $307/month payment. :crying:

You will end up having to spend money that you don’t have for repairs, you won’t be able to keep up with the payments, and your credit will go totally to shit. :crying: :crying:

Those “warranties” that used car dealers give you are completely worthless, just try to collect on one once and you’ll find out.

I agree with the previous posts - $1000 car for you.

ok so after much thinking and talking to this dealership and talking to all of you i decided that i am not going to get this car because you all are right and 83z has a good point as well as far as the warranty goes. I remember when i worked at baierl acura and someone brought a 98 integra GSR in, cause it had a miss, well it ended up being a burnt valve but the warranty company would not cover it cause it was a warn part and not a “broke” part. so the owner of the car ended up haveing to pay over 8k in labor just to have the car diagnosed and put back together with out it being fixed and because i remembered this and been thinking about it and talking to you guys i am just going to save up my money and use it for a down payment on a newer car or if i can find something worth while buy something from someone that is selling something on here as long as it is not junk and is road worthy.
