Some towns use over head photos taken every few years by airplane. The pictures the FBI used to investigate the murder of that Doctor in Amherst where very detailed using these photos. Some of the satellite images on google maps use the most high tech commercially available 1M resolution images available from space.

around here, in the city anyway, you never hear of stuff like that. my mom’s good friend, her brother is the head of narcotics here. sounds like they spend their time on things like coke heroin and meth, not sure why swat was needed for some college kids selling weed.

A cop around here was doing that a few years ago and got busted.
ok, I’m not going to name, names or anything… but true story.
years and years ago I was sitting around my buddies apartment with him and his girlfriend. We were toking and we hear a knock at his door… I look out the window and see a cop car.
I freak, start hiding everything (as did they) and lit a cigarette. Well, as it turns out, the cop was a friend of his that he hadn’t seen in forever. Once I realized that, I was still a little worried about the blaze. He told me it was cool and not to worry about it, then asked if he could hit it (mind you, he was in uniform and everything).
I wasnt about to tell him no, so I passed it lol. We ended up shooting the shit and then he started talking about how he, the week before, pulled a guy over with his partner and ended up find blow and a bunch of cash on him. Instead of booking him, they took all his stuff and half of his $$$ and sent him on his way.
Told me it happens all the time. I was floored.
The guy also got me out of work lol… I had to go work at BK an hour or so later, so he gave me a ride (and asked that I hook him up with a burger). So I tell him to flirt with my manager and hopefully see if I could leave early. Well, as luck would have it… he said that we were friends and started sweet talking the manager and sure as shit… she said if I wanted to go home, I could.
Kind of a far-out-there story but I swear to God it really went down. Crazy shit

Its stupid because the Denver law says OK, but the Colorado law says No. State law owns the City laws, so basically its pointless.

werd… buuuuut, I think you’d have to be prosecuted in a state or federal court opposed to a local court (most of the time they throw out small amounts and give you a slap on the wrist). It’d probably be a moot point IMO
