whats with the HUUUUUUUUUUGE WING…damn RIcer…j/k…i am a fan of debaging…then rebadging with better stuff

the wing is chara sized!

looks good bluChara

lol, yea it was pretty tedious getting all that adhesive off.

makes it easier for me to buff

haha, yea your welcome :stuck_out_tongue:

ditch the spoiler(s).

ewww, horrible idea

How did you do it? I’ve been talking about doing this for the longest time but I’ve never gotten around to it.

I want to leave the front alone and only get rid of the S U B A R U in the back

prob used dental floss and patience

zong, def ditch the sti badge

who wants to take SUBARU off tonight? Anyone? Jon? Anyone?

Tom - I like the gay pink sti badging

I cant tonight…I’m helping a friend move in.

and my JDM wing came in the mail today WOOOT!!! gotta get that ish on!

floss and a heat gun on low

i would have left it

It was pretty easy actually, just took some time/patience.

  1. Heated up the the SUBARU lettering with a hair dryer, took like 1 min per letter.
  2. Used dental floss to get behind the lettering and pull it off. Now with all the letters off, there was still all of the adhesive left over.
  3. I sprayed the adhesive with bug/tar remover, some people used wd-40 or goo-gone, and let it soak/sit for 5-10 mins.
  4. Wipe off all of the bug/tar remover, then take the hair dryer again and heat up the adhesive until its soft/sticky. Then rub off the adhesive, I found it to come off best with my thumb actually lol. All of the adhesive didn’t come off the first try, it took me 3 times of applying the bug/tar remover and letting it soak for everything to come off.

Thats it.

turtle wax bug and tar remover is awesome! i used it to get tree sap off my car. i have a Primera (rebadged G20), and the infiniti badge and g20 are still slightly visable, maybe ill try letting it soak. i think it looks clean, and yeah makes it a lot easier to buff. good job!

Can’t see the pics now, but debadging is cool in my book. Badges just catch dirt and then one day you are drying your car and the towel catches the corner of a letter and rips it off. Its easier to just take off right from the get go.

P.S. Goo Gone works great for debadging.
