I saw your car in OP a few months back when I was going to get candy from that place that was set up behind the old Mobil/now Kwik Fill right in town. It sounded better then two chicks fucking and climaxing at the same time. And not ugly Timberland wearing dykes, hot 19 year old ones that want attention and experiment.
You are hands down my favorite person on this forum.
Pretty sure I have banned him before. But man lately I have been dying at some of the gems.
He’s also my least favorite person on this forum. Makes sense.
Had i known he liked pushrods so much i wouldn’t have.
Pushrods are cool as shit.
Main topic: if you’re replacing the V with something on the same level, you’ll continue to be bored. Why not buy an Aston Martin if you can stomach the maintenance? They’ve depreciated to “pretty cheap” status - at least for what they are.
Edited to URL shortener links because Autotrader links do the exploding here because .
hahahahhaha
so i was having dinner with a buddy in calgary who used to work for bentley and BMW and said he’d go with a used CGT over a near new M5/M6 any day.
i guess it’s something most of us never drive and maybe don’t understand the nuances of what makes these things so incredible… i don’t get it but i trust him so maybe this is something some of us should start considering??
I would 100% go CGT over M5/6, but I also sort of hate the direction BMW has gone in recent years, so there’s your bias for that opinion. E/S Class AMG or Aston Martin would be the only cars I’d cross shop in that “segment” IMO unless I had a shitload pile of extra cash for a Rolls. It’s always tough for me to justify going down the road of the executive sedan/coupe though, because if I’m already driving a plush ass luxobox that isn’t designed for track performance or handling, I’d rather drive something that I could tow with and fit stuff in.
I would get a gt500…in black. A 2014 would be nice.
X…
Lol
Well I moved on to an ML63 AMG and a GT500.
The V was plastidipped and then wrecked. Fixable from what I heard.
I really like the amg, but am targeting a CGT, Maserati Coupe or Aston in the next 18 months as its replacement.
Continental GT?
Yeah
And here I am driving a Ford Ranger…lol.
I know Astons depreciate quick, what’s the range looking like for a decent example?
You can get a several year old one (2010ish) for $60k +/-. (Obviously depending on the model/options)
Your ford ranger might maintain more value used than anything from Maserati
