decent welder??

Well here is my take on MIG welders having lots of experience in this process. Don’t cheap out and get a habour freight piece of shit. Low quality(cheap) machines have piss poor ARC quality and shitty duty cycles. You will be better off buying a high quality machine new, it will last you forever, or check out the paper because many people start with a 110v machine then upgrade to a 220v machine once they outgrow their small machine

Two of the large names in the industry are Lincoln Electric and Miller. Both make excellent machines. I am a Miller person but Lincolns are great also. It comes down to weather you like Miller Blue or Lincoln Red.

Hobarts are made by Miller. They are the same company just think of the Miller as the Cadillac and the Hobart is the Chevy. The Miller just has more bells and whistles.

Also Rodgers welding supply on Filmore has great prices and will usually meet internet prices if you give them the chance.
