I don’t know why everyone rags on the 2014/5 Silverado, I honestly think it looks the best.
I dunno, I’ve always preferred the GMC styling as well over the equivalent Chevy.

Decided to change out the fog lights tonight to fix my lack of down road lighting issue. These weren’t super expensive bulbs, so I don’t have high expectations. I am pretty surprised at how much brighter they are though.

Totally agree. Chevy 14’s and 15’s are ugly as sin except for the $60k High Country editions.
Congrats on the purchase. Does that have apple carplay / android auto? The infotainment progression has been huge over the last couple years.
It does not have apple carplay/android auto, but I’m OK with that. I’ve heard some bad feedback on it so far and my brother just snagged a new Colorado that has it and it seems clunky and nonresponsive at times.
The Bluetooth system they put in this one has a Pandora app that links up with your phone, there are multiple USB ports, there’s even an SD card slot.
The touchscreen and the speedo screen have all sorts of controls that make it super easy to browse through stations and different media sources.
Overall, I’m very pleased with the features they installed inside the cabin.

Glad you like it. I have driven a number of GM cars over the past year and have really liked the progression in the cabin.

I think that a lot of people were disappointed in the Apple Play because GM was working on having an app store and then they scrapped it and decided to use Apple/Android products.
Thanks @BigRon, been 8 years in the making and I’m pretty excited. We are now shopping for a new house. I’m not a city slicker, so it’s back to the country for me.
