Am I just a newb or is there no “delete post button”? If there isn’t I might suggest we get one put onto the posts? We all make stupid posts, I know I sure do…

Then anyone could delete anyone elses posts. That’s why we have moderators on each of the forum topics, so that if a double post or screw up was made, they can delete it.
Its a forum option that is enabled in some boards but not all.

Well I’m not sure what he means, but if you could delete your own posts, that would be an option. Although, you can just edit your post with a period or something…
hmmm i thought that was what the x was for. why does it show up in only some places
as i said before it’s a feature. It can be turned on and off for different sub catagories by the moderators.
The admin can change the edit, delete etc. options per forum. So some forums may have it, while others may not.

What I meant is if you made a post that you thought was stupid, you can delete. How’s a mod going to know that you regret posting something? It may look normal to them. Here’s an idea. If you post, only you can see the edit button for YOUR post only, right? Why not put the “Delete post” option at the top of that page? That way nobody can delete other people’s posts, only you can see it, then you can get rid of/or edit your post… :shrug:
