Deleted Recycle bin

I accidentally deleted the link for my recycle bin yesterday on my start menu and my roommate had it removed from my desktop. Now I have a few gigs worth of stuff in there I need deleted.

How do I find my original recycle bin and also create another link to it in my start menu.

Thanks John.

Right click on your desktop (Any open area)
Click Properties.
Click Desktop tab.
Click Customize Desktop.
Click Restore Default button.
Reboot.

To link it on your Start Menu, once you get the icon back, just drag and drop it onto the Start button and it will shortcut it.

Hope this helps.

I tried that and got nothing. Any other ideas?

Thanks for your help.

I somehow did that before. I cant remember what I did to fix it, but I think I downloaded something. I wouldnt try #2 unless you actually know what all that means. I only know how to restore internet usage on a computer where all websites are blocked from the regedit screen.

Hope this helps.

try system restore to the day before…or in some cases the hour before…depends on when your PC last made a restore point.
if i think of anything else i’ll hit u up
