Derrick employees...

I’m applying for a job, as my aunt told me they are hiring like crazy at the moment.

Just curious on a few things…

What Job there I’d be specifically applying for
A Referrer
And do they really test you in all those ways mentioned on the 2nd page?

Thanks in advance!

when you talk to tom he will tell you where you will be working or what job you will be applying for. if you have any skill example: welding, painting, machine tell him it may determine where you work

Thank you sir!

were hiring like crazy always,
just put down what you have experience in and that will most likely determine where you go… and i forgot what the test was on page 2 but if you do get hire you go for a drug test/hearing/physical

Sounds good. Almost done finishing the application now. Going to go drop it off on my way to Go Karting

what is the basic pay / hour’s at derrick

The application says the hours are 7-5 and 9-7
Newman told me that they’re flexible with part time though.

I was told pay begins at $10, but I’m not too sure on how true that is. Maybe someone on here can verify.

I just want this job because it’s closer to home and seems less boring then where I’m currently at.

ya 10 dollars to start off, those are the full time hours you posted,

part time you can just give your boss a schudle and there pretty flexible

if u get the job lmk, ull be 2 seconds from where i work

realy think long and hard if this is what you wanna do.lol there are lots of jobs for 10bucs/hr.

QFT, i don’t miss working with you.

i used to work there

Is Derrick hiring for anything >$10/hr. Like an Account Manager, or anything in industrial controls?

i quit there

that bad, huh?

i went back to school, i couldn’t take working in a dirty factory for 10 bucks an hour for 50 hours a week. the only way you see decent money is if you’re working 50+ hours. being up that long on a concrete floor in a factory is tough. especially during the summer where it is incredibly hot

at least they give the day shit gatorade in the summer. i worked overnights in the winter. not fun. i used to stand by the oven when the doors were open to get warm. i also left to go to school. i liked it well enough there. the benefits are awesome.

honestly i think i have it to good there… i cant bitch at all

Thats cuz ur part time and u work when you want in the other building where your foreman almost never goes:spank:. And you never anwser your phone asshole. You still want the quad? I need to get rid of it.

Derrick isn’t a bad place to work, but layzie is right, unless you plan on working more than 50 hrs(which is the min for full time) at $10/hr (I believe welders start @ $12 to $13u/hr dep on exp) won’t see a ton of money. Their raises aren’t anything to brag about either. If you’re just looking for something that is a steady paycheck and you don’t mind a litel hard work and gettin dirty, then i guess its alright. The benefits are very good there too. Nothing comes out of your paycheck for full benefits, which is nice.

I’d be looking for part time. I need something flexible enough so I can do homework and have a little time during the week to breathe.
