They collect moisture in air lines.
We make thousands of these for one customer but I thought there might
be a market for them for anyone that uses compressed air.
The cannister is filled with desiccant which absorbs moisture.
It also has a screen and felt filter at each end to contain the desiccant.
There is also a spring inside to keep everthing in place.
^ Good question.
The only similar thing I found online was over $80.
I would sell these for $45.
I would be interested in one

can you replace said dessicant or dry it out in the oven (is it silica gel)
[/quote]
Yes, you can dry it out for re-use.

can i see a pic of one installed.

I am not sure what you mean.
You would just run your air supply hose in one end and another hose out the other end.
i make shit like that at work , silica gel can be dried out an reused again it take it being left in an over for extended amounts of time to get out the moisture. WE make drier bags for denso and other auto makers for their ac units
i’ll take one
For people that are interested, please let me know how you would like to get one.
My company is in Springville and no one seems to like driving that far.:biglaugh:
Here is a picture of the “guts” - felt, screens, spring and desiccant.
yeah thats molecular sieve and it dries out pretty fast compared to silica gel. good product
i will take one.
