But anyways one of those cards above blows the Geforce 550 Ti out of the water.

No doubt

You can get this for a bit more http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125476

Its nice, but ill buy from @Clean_Baldy. The card he has is more than I need already. And originally this was going to be a budget build. I think for a total of $600 I have something decent enough to play most anything on at least HIGH settings.

Oops my bad I misread that he was going to sell you one yea good deal for a great card

Done. Cleaned out a few.

Thank you everyone for the help, support, and advise. The build is complete a lot sooner than expected.

So the temps in this thing have been seeming pretty HIGH! Iv been using FanSpeed to look at everything. These are all at idle and fans running at 50% Core 48c GPU 42c Temp1 48c

When light gaming like playing CounterStrike, Core and GPU jump to 53-55c. Seems warm that’s all. I need to add a fan at the top of the case. Should I have it blowing in or out? Right now there is a front fan, side fan, and 2 in the back one on the PS and 1 up top blowing out.

Normal temps are usually 50-60

Ok. Well that makes me feel better. I was looking up Temps and everyone has super cooled gaming rigs with Temps in the 40’s. Made me wonder if mine were high.

Get a coolmaster 212 direct pipe contact and temps will probably drop, speed fan is like so 10 years ago use core temp for monitoring temps

Pfft I don’t even monitor temps. You’ll know if the CPU is overheating.

If you google your exact CPU and operating temp range you can find out but those temps are not really high

So this mobo I have is really pissing me off. Its not what I thought was in the tower when purchased as a different model number was given to me. Only has 1 pci x16 slot and only 2 memory slots. Also the cables for the HD’s, CD drive, and graphics card so not all fit. I am looking to get something more friendly that I can just swap everything to. PLEASE HELP ME OUT!!!

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128655 was looking at this. $100 would be my MAX budget, but under would be better of there is something that fits my criteria better.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131873 This is what I was thinking I was getting. Should I pick this up?

So I’m 98% sure that the Gigabyte one you posted won’t work. Different CPU Socket types, unless you’re buying another CPU.

Your 100% right. I think i linked the wrong one. What about the 2nd one? Thats what i was told was in the tower i think.

I prefer ASUS myself so I like that board. Maxes at 32GB of RAM, 2 PCI slots…decent board.

Awesome ill prob pick it up next week, along with some 90* sata cables, and another 8gb of ram and a case fan. Will give me a good change to untangle all the wires and hide most of them.

I might have some SATA cables, you just need a 90 on one end?
