For some reason I thought BW3 had failed before in Buffalo and this was there second try. I just read they are going to open a new location on Transit and one in OP.
Wonder if they will try something different.
If anyone has an article or something about when they first shut down that would help for a debate I am having with a friend.
I agree it’s not that great but why can’t Buffalo carry a national chain sports bar? Damon’s and Hooters went out and BW3 can’t seem to get it right either.
Yeah I really enjoy Champps here in Detroit, a little more expensive but good specials. But if BW3 and Damons can’t make it I doubt they would.
Since Detroit has all 4 professional sports they must be able to support resturants like these better. Sports like basketball and baseball keep people in the seats year round to fill out football and hockey.
Plus the college sports in Buffalo are weak.
I don’t disagree. I ate at Hooter’s once and will never again. And I respect the chain resturant comment.
But name a place that is comfortable, tons of TVs and projection screens, can watch PPV events with a decent menu and drink specials.
Ignoring the BW3 and people in Buffalo can get good wings anywhere comment. Why can’t a decent sports resturant stay open in Buffalo. I think I answered my question in post 14 but I wonder if anyone else has a reason.
I knew a girl that worked at Damons and remembered her saying that the place was packed during Bills and Sabres games and empty the rest of the time.
Meh there are plenty of restaurants/bars in WNY that have good food, drink specials big tv’s and are just as comfortable as your typical chain restaurant. The only sports on PPV is gay ass MMA but I am sure there are places that get that too.
Notice I said resturant and not bars. I am not looking for a place to get a greesy burger and beer.
But maybe they popped up since I have left. Feel free to list out a couple.
Also as for MMA, when I posted last week there was 0 places listed getting the fights in WNY other than BW3, offically… I was told a bar downtown was getting it, but that would be a significant drive and still a bar atmosphere.
