not always. Many times he has a cock in his mouth and needs an interpreter.
JOHN FORCE BURNOUT!!! ftw
Lol, I was bouncing threw video’s on youtube a lil while back and ran across that one lol. Was some funny shit lol. Luckily or at least for now mine doesn’t do those big burnouts with the 38’s on it. Still there is 8-9/32nds difference between the front and rears already in about 7000 miles.
i do some ford diesel work if you guys ever have any basic questions or wanna troubleshoot problems. i don’t really know anything about modifications though
can you modify a 7.3 DIT? i’d love to find one for a dd
both slomaro’s and mine are just exhaust/programmers for right now
I have the 7.3 he has the 6.slow
I believe you can turn the pumps up a lil on them.
On your 7.3 you can make it a lil quieter and make a lil more power. The oil that feeds the injectors hits a dead end in the back of the head. There is a plug that can be removed and they sell a crossover line that you thread in that connects one head to the other. Only buy the steel braided kind though. It balances out the injector oil preasure and quiets them down. Also there is a fuel tank mod you can do as well. Requires removal of the tank to trim the return spout. This keeps from getting hot airiated fuel back to the motor. Or you can put an airdog or fass system on it. The 6.slow lol you mentioned is great with a programmer and simple mods though once he starts making good boost I would suggest head studs and good head gaskets. Believe we had the one guys 6.0 running low 13’s high 12’s.
slomaro knows all about this, even at stock boost level
:rant::rant:
i’ve heard good things about the arp head studs. even some dealerships are putting them in now
got a powerstroke 7.3 in a 99 f550 dump. Currently having serious issues running it. Replaced the fuel filter and gonna replace the cam sensor after the honeymoon and hope that’s the issue…if that doesn’t fix it and anyone is lookin for side work i’ll probably need a hand from someone more familiar with these engines!
Thats whats going in mine.
What is it doing?
it starts up you have to hold the throttle down about 1/4 ofthe way to get it to run around 1400 rpm then it starts to surge and drop to 300 rpm then back to 1400 then down to 500 then back to 1300. when its not surging it sounds good at 1300 rpm but if you let of the gas it dropps down to about 400-500 and it sounds just like a very cold diesel truck until it stalls out. he replaced the cam sensor and that didnt do crap balls.
It may be the ICP sensor. Expensive lil thing. Goes on the frontright side of the motor as your look into it on the front of the head so to speak. I know a guy who used to help me with mine and who I learned about the powerstroke from. I’ll pm him, his number.
I have an 03 cummins 6 speed ho dually. Smarty 4.2, airdog150,velair carbon/kevlar with an he351cw
Sounds like what mine was doing, there is a ground for the “fuel pump” that grounds itself on the tank, mine came loose and lost good ground. I pulled it off, cleaned teh spot, shrink wrapped it and it worked fine
03 cummins w/ a predator, 5" exhaust, and southbend clutch.
dude kevin and i were both thinking that it sounded fuel related… seriously. i fuckin hope thats it… he is on vacation but i might just fuckin head over there this week and do it for him while he is on his hunny moon. that would be awesome if that was all it was. thank gawd its a dump also so all i have to do is put the bed up
probably high pressure oil problem. IPR could be fucking up and dumping pressure or the icp could have a bias
well i might have a set of headgaskets to do on a 6.0 here soon. gotta see what the cust wants to do
banks chip and intake elbow/tube, this thing moves pretty damn good
