Digital Camera Question

Im looking for an affordable SLR, ill most likely be getting a refurbished one. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what to look for? I want 8.0MP at least, and am leaning towards a Canon…

Another question, I have a minolta 35MM SLR, will all the lenses I have for that be able to be used with a digital SLR? Is there a standard for lenses, so theyre interchangeable?

Thanks

Or, if my lenses will work, just a body, like this

Digital Rebel > nikon D**
The Rebel XT is a nice camera… Higher framerate… and Higher MP than the 6mp companion the Rebel.

Getting a camera that will work with your pictures > *

Knowing how to use a camera > having an expensive one and thinking you are going to get good pictures.

Frankly, having a firm understanding of certain digital photography concepts would mean you would understand that saying “I want an 8.0MP at least” is a silly criteria.

And the DRebel is honda civic of DSLRs.

The D200/D** >>>>>>>> DRebel

moved to huge nerd

Ohh, so you agree that the Rebel is fucking awesome then, right?

sating “i want 8mp” is because I need to take pics of drawings and print at a specific resolution. I need at least 8mp to be able to capture the images i need.

I want better control of settings, like ive gotten good at with my 35mm SLR…
