I’ve been looking into getting a digital SLR camera for a few months now, and based on the price range I’m trying to keep myself in, my options include the Nikon D3000 and D5000, and the Canon Rebel XS and Rebel T1i.

Anyone have any input on what would be a good choice for a first time SLR user such as myself?

I hate to be that guy but use the search. This topic has been covered several times. Alot of us prefer Nikons.

If you get a canon, my brother is selling all of his L lenses for cheap.
