Dirt Bike guys step in, carburetor guys too... Backfire/startup issue (also stalling)

Is that cordless impact yellow or orange?

Green

I C wut U did there.

Carb cleaned up like new, it was pretty much perfect before. Float level was a bit high so we lowered that. Bike fired right up.

It still shuts off when I do long Stoppies, and then takes ages to start back up. Super annoying.

Is the carb gravity fed? Ever smell gas after doing stoppie?

Yes, I think it is. And yes. Gas sometimes flows through the gas cap when I do Stoppies. Other than that, no leak…

I should just stop goofing around… Sigh

The gas cap or the vent?

Swap a ltr 450 motor into it

Metal tank, so there is no traditional vent.

It comes from between the cap and tank

Bat shit idea but what are the chances the bowl could be emptying into the cylinder?

That’s my suspicions

People stunt these all the time. Is there no documented remedy out there?

Not sure. I’ve seen a bunch of posts about it.

sell it, buy a WR. Fuel injected, problem solved

.

That would fix it, indeed.

but that powerband…

Slow. I rode a modded wr a few hours ago… Tooooooo slow.
