Do I need a brake proportioning valve?

Hi, i am in the process of doing a redtop swap on my s14 kouki, it comes standard with abs, i will not be keeping the abs and there for the abs solenoid valves on the passenger side is just an eye sore so im going to remove it. I have stock brakes all around, the question is do i need a proportioning valve? What if i “t” the front line for the fronts, and a direct line for the rear. Do i need a different master cylinder? and where is the best location to put a proportioning valve, or would i be best off to keep the abs valves?

any help would be appreciated.

Proportioning valve is in the master cylinder. I’ve seen people tee together the two front lines, but it does present a safety issue, since if one front line does fail, you will lose both your front brakes, as opposed to how it would be if you properly removed ABS by using a non-abs master cylinder, if one line fails, then you will still have braking to one front brake.
