I have a master cylinder from my 1990 s13 parts car without ABS and it has 3 brake lines going into it. I was wondering if i can still use this for my 89 with ABS. The one without ABS has 3 ports and the one with ABS has 2 ports for 2 brake lines. I was thinking of plugging the extra hole on the one from my parts car and using it. Is it advisable to do this ? Has anyone done it before?
i had a car that had that done and it worked fine just plug the back plug and use the other 2 it would still be better to use what is factory for your application but it does work
It will work fine if you plug one hole on the master cylinder and use one line to âTâ off to both front brakes.
Anybody who installs a line lock on their vehicle has to do the same and the brakes still work just fine.
