Anyone know if the rules have changed in the last 4 years? I just got a 17 over. Fucking 55 to a 35 zone and of course he was sitting there waiting for someone to miss the sign.

Also, does insurance find out about the violation?

Yeah I was pissed. Best part was I had so much crap in the back of the truck I couldn’t see out the back. I didn’t even know he was behind me with the lights on until he put on his siren. I was like WTF, go around, then realized he was after me. I didn’t even know what I did wrong.

UPDATE:
Talked to my insurance company and they said they only pull information from the NYS abstract and since out of state tickets don’t show up in NY, it won’t matter.

Also, called the court and my 17mph over is a $130 fine.
