Do sixteens fit on a Metro?

Sorta.

Bling bling, bitches.

These things weigh like 19 pounds each (according to bathroom scale)… I doubt I’ll end up using them, but I had them laying around and wanted to see what 16"s would look like on a car that came with 12"s.

(By the way, if anyone wants that Mustang, let me know ASAP. I need that thing gone. It’s not mine, so I don’t know dick about it. I can give the owner your number if you’re interested.)

my bad.

“17.5” pounds each, according to some wheel weight reference online.

is that heavy for a 16x7?

would i waste my time ---- No
do metro’s suck ass — yes
does this thread suck — yes

I vow that I’ll be in the 14s by the end of summer.

hey man, whatever floats your boat… Just do it, to it fullest, whatever you do… And brush off the haterz :bigok:

JEAH!

whats the deal with ethe mustang? does it run? why is it at yoru place?

I hope you are but I don’t see it. that last metro I saw run did a 21 at the track. brokeasskorean and I were cracking up as the dude passed us at about the 1/8 at 30mph…the car trapped under 60mph I believe

Tell me more about that stang!

x2

i could probably get a buyer for you… my buddy has a 71 mach 1… would buy another in a hearbeat if the price is right??

Where is the Car Blanyer? he lives in west view by Bronx field

those 16s make that thing look alot cooler.

If thier was ever a thing called PORNO GREEN INTERIOR this car has it

The metro looks like its on the stuff Jose canseco took :kekegay:

yeah they fit… with no tires

what r u doing to the metro shalerpunk?

x2 - I like the no tire look. That should handle like it’s on rails.

Swapping from my Suzuki Swift GT
G13B motor + 5 speed tranny
Front + rear disc brakes + suspension

I’m conservatively estimating that the motor swap will net me low 16 second 1/4 mile times.

i’m going to run it like that for about half of the summer, make sure I really like the car and want to keep sinking money into it. If I do, I’m going to put together a turbo setup similar to the www.ssgti.net Stage I kit. It uses a GT25, but I want to use something with a bit more output, like a GT28RS.

200hp is very acheivable with the motor, in a car that came with 49hp from the factory. I think it’ll be a little quick.

73 Mustang
carb’d 302
i think it’s rotted underneath

it’s in millvale

if anyone wants to talk to the owner, let me know

just use the compariable t series to the 28rs… you can get it for 400 no problem whereas the 28rs .64 is like 1100… kilmer420 is selling one in the auto classifieds… make the project a little cheaper.

you have any idea of price range? I will let my buddy know

I have a video of a turbo Buick powered Metro that runs in the 9’s

Anyone want to host it?
