Do SR20DET’s have a stock BOV? I guess I’m asking more if 180sx’s have a stock BOV or not… I was lead to believe there is one on the sidemount, but i checked and couldn’t find one… anyone know?
No they have stock recirculation valves. CA’s don’t though.

where is this re-circ valve? hahah i need to find it!! i’m still bogging between shifts, its holding me back for SCC!!
correct me if im wrong but its on the right side if you are facing the engine. look a little deeper throught he hoses. hard to explain and I am horrbiel when it comes to cars
i read a few faq’s and apparently the large vacuum line coming from the intake goes to the stock re-circ valve… now i can find it easily!
Stock will be under the splash guard on the JDM passenger side.
^^^ Yup, thats where it is. There should be a vacuum line coming down right where the two pipes for the SMIC go thru the engine bay.
The bypass valve is the big ugly thing right behind the SMIC core. There should be a rubber hose thats maybe an inch in diameter that runs to the intake piping just after the MAF.
