I haven’t been sick in 6 years… the only time I feel under the weather is about 4-6 hours after getting the flu mist…
other than that… I don’t get sick… If it prevents it then great… but thats my experience with it.

My wife works in a daycare and she is exposed to hundreds of kids and all their germs daily. I never get flu shots and i have not gotten anything she’s brang home. So either A) my immune system is great or B) she isnt trying hard enough to make me sick.
Flu shots are a waste of time IMO
never had it, I swear, actually where I work the flu ran through the place about 2 weeks back, 90% of the residents got it and about 70% of the staff, I did not (edit, the residents all had flu shots btw)
I realize how vaccinations work, most of them work on the same concept a dead or weakened virus is introduced into the body creating an immuno response so your body is ready when the virus is introduced into your body a 2nd time
I hate to break it to you but the health system today is all about protocol and making $$$$
it really isnt looking out for your best interest or even if you live or die
its about protecting their asses from getting sued and getting rich doing it
If you happen to get better well then great, if you die well too bad but hey at least protocol was followed
You should see how Buffalo General handles my dad when his blood sugar hits 500, they use something called Rainbow coverage for insulin adminstration, its about the equivilent that if you came in bleeding from the juggular that they would give you one stitch at a time and then wait after each single stitch to see if it fixed the problem
Attorneys have put an end to using common sense
and come on, coincidence?
my grandmother lived 85 healthy years and within sub 60 mins of having the flu shot shes having neurologic problems?
it is rare but hell people even die after taking an asprin
if you think vaccinations are wonderful cure alls take off your rose colored glasses and check out this site-

oh and obviously my comments about unclean women was humor
Side effects of vaccinations do happen, it’s inherent in any medical treatment. Do they happen to everyone or even a significant percentage? NO or they would not have been approved for use. The flu shot has been tested and accepted for general use, and it may be that because enough people actually get it that we don’t have a huge amount of flu epidemics. So it’s tragic that it may have lead to one individuals demise, but you have to look at how many elderly people got the flu shot, and therefore didn’t catch what possibly could have been a deadly flu and lived because they got the shot. Contrary to (some individuals) popular belief, the CDC is not a privately run corporation. It is government run and funded mainly, and what goes on there is under strict control to prevent any kind of corporate interests affecting decisions. Same for the FDA. Individual hospitals/treatment centers/insurance crap is another story entirely.
bottom line: If you want advice about flu shots, go talk to a pharmacist or doctor, don’t listen to NYSPEED.
