I don’t think I’ll ever carry a gun with me, no matter where I live.
I don’t think it’s a great idea to carry that kind of thing around on you, might just be me.
I do carry a knife though, which wouldn’t be used untill someone’s beating my ass.
Steal my stuff and walk off and leave me alone that’s cool, but I don’t like the idea of someone beating my face in.

Sometimes I carry my gun… depends on the area, oviously we do not live in compton, but there are not so good areas around here. When I do its nothing but the best, Sig Sauer P239 .40
That is a stupid statistic to live your life around. The more important one is…if the criminal knows you have a gun he/she is far less likely to rob you.

obviously you don’t know gun laws very well.
his point is that you should search for the statistic where the criminal KNOWS the homeowner or say truck driver is armed and then see the rate for criminal activity.
those little signs that say protected by smith and wesson could be lies or could be straight up… and it’s obvious that no one would want to find out one way or another… right?
I’ve actually used a gun to protect my well-being and perhaps my life. When I had some cracked out motherfucker approaching me with a big knife, it was reassuring to know that I lived in a society free enough to afford me the level of self defense I needed. 
Those statistics about being more likely to be harmed by a gun if you have a gun are caused by one factor that everyone who spouts the statistic conveniently overlooks- PEOPLE WHO COMMIT SUICIDE WITH GUNS. Take the suicides out of the statistic and it becomes insignificant.

I simply meant, how would anyone know not to rob you when you are walking down the street because you have a gun?
It is a federal law, No person shall carry a gun on a commercial vehicle.
Thiers some that do, But it doesn’t take much for the DOT to search the truck and discover it. I mean really, Sneeze the wrong way out goes the logbooks and searching the ride. Highly unlikely to know if a driver is strapped. unless the dude is a moron and flashing it.

I don’t carry. I wouldn’t want to do jail time for using it. Chances are you would do jail time.
I do have firearms at home to protect my family. If you use a firearm at home to protect your family chances are you will do jail time. Especially if you shoot them while they are running away.

If they have a posession of yours on them adn u do not shoot them in the back n u can prove they broke into ur house n are still on your property the courts would have a tough time trying to convict u.
