Do You Enjoy Riding Your Motorcycle Even When Just Cruising?

Motorcycles are a lot of fun at speed. Twisty roads, high speeds, accelerating down on-ramps, etc. But in reality, we often spend a lot of time in traffic cruising at the speed limit or just trying to get from A to B without getting a ticket.

So the question is, do you enjoy riding even when you’re just cruising along just to get from point A to point B?

And a follow up question, do you ever get bored while riding?

Yes i enjoy just riding and i cant say that i ever got bored just wished i wasnt in traffic lol

If the weather is nice, there is no time I’d rather be in my car.

I enjoy street riding and never got bored. I probably ride to slow on streets…:lol

Sitting in traffic sucks no matter you are in a car or bike, but Albany usually don’t have that problem.

This.

I knew I would be the odd one. I get bored a lot :frowning:

I’ve got a lot of respect for the true riders who love to ride at any place/time. For me though a sportbike is too uncomfortable to enjoy cruising with.

Sometimes I wish I had something more practical that I could ride daily.

I wish I have something more practical that I could commute with and actually carry stuff. A guy I know just bought a R1200GS decked out with all the containers you can buy for that bike; Not that I would spend that kind of money for an adventure bike, but a 650GS would be nice…

I hate to beat a horse to death here but if you want to enjoy the streets buy a street bike instead of a super sport.

I’ve rode for the entire past week and a half, with getting out at 8am and brushing the frost off my seat because it still beat the hell out of a cage.

Got out of work and went across the street to get some views that will never be there again as the new building will be up within a year and Wash ave extension section will be moved next to the highway.

The little motard that could

The plan this year is to buy enough heated and warm gear to ride for nearly year around.

I love the lol next to the head light

Try getting onto route 9 from Henry Johnson boulevard in the afternoon :eek3

Is that the 400?

Yessir :excited

Year? How much? I presume it is used.

'05, best $3k ever! This thing revolutionizes the way you view the moto sport, which is priceless. Got it with somewhat “high” miles - mid teens.

I do enjoy the cruising aspect of riding a motorcycle, but much moreso when I’m riding with people than by myself. Then again, I guess it’s the same thing with the performance side, as well; I enjoy beating the crap out of my bike a lot when I’m alone, but even moreso when I’m riding with others!

Who else said NO. lol

The seat was rock ass hard on my KTM SMC… cruising for more than 10 miles numbed your ass! Also I dont like half-assing things, so I take my daily driving SRS and my riding SRS… as unsafe as that sounds I guess. I race hard, ride hard, drive hard, work hard, KK doesnt pussy foot around.

yay! I’m not alone :lol

I cruise alot its relaxing to me I rode my gsxr 652 miles in one day last year down to nj an back. I ride aggressive but most of the time I’m cruising to work or home

You two will be judged accordingly :tongue

Glad I’m not the only one who feels this way. Looking forward to meeting you this year. Seems like you’re the only person I know who wouldn’t mind riding down to the city and back as a fun trip or far north.

vlad we have met before a few years back when u worked at the mobil on rt7 I had a bright orange 96 eclipse an I believe u had a crx at the time
