lol, you really need to do a bit more research as to exactly “what” is running against “what” in these series. Ha, Just for shits, when I go to Canada next week to tune an ACTUAL RACE CAR, I am going to have him jot down what restrictions he has to run vs. his competition in the varius series he runs.
x2 :pimp:
:word: You can keep arguing all the what-ifs in every direction all day long, even until the next car comes along and beats out the ACR (and then it’d probably start again). But, at the end of the day the ACR has the crown. I just hope Dodge keeps the Viper in production.
I doubt its going to be Dodge at this point. All we CAN hope for is the next owner being willing and able to pump the needed money into the platform.
Fuck 500hp at 2200rpm :jawdrop:
Thats Torque, not Horsepower.
LMAO…gee…do you think that just MAYBE it has to do with the way you word everything?
Here’s your first post:“Its official, you ZR1 and GTR leghumpers better hand over the crown, the Viper ACR just slayed the ZR1 on the ring… without factory support, and WITNESSED by Motor Trend… by FOUR POINT THREE SECONDS. Final Lap Time was 7:22.1, and sits on top of the hill except for the group of extreme power/race cars”
Shitting up a Viper thread? You bring this shit onto yourself. You simply can’t help it. Every time you post something, you SIMPLY HAVE to take a stab. You always do…every time. You wonder why so many people think you are a retard.
LOL thats what i meant lol. I’m tired
Yeah, and if anyone else had posted that same thing, no one would have really cared. I have just given up on tip-toeing around the issue, and frankly, dont give a shit if some people think I am “taking a stab”. The Corvette fanboys have done it for years- I obviously cant beat them since there are so many people here aspiring to own one someday, so I may as well join them and at least incite somewhat of a rise out of everyone. What the fuck else do we all do? If it wasnt this thread, it would be another one about something else anyway… and probably just as pointless overall.
In the end, you idiots look just as dumb arguing with me about it as I do for taking pot-shots at various points. I think its pretty obvious that none of you are going to change my mind. For fucks sake, I have more riding on this particular model of car than virtually any of you do on any other model of car- I wouldnt let myself back down even if I wanted to.
To put it to a point… I’ll buy you a beer, but your still fucking wrong.:biglol:
I almost spit out my morning orange juice at the snow comment!!!
That was a good one.
D
Well when subaru launches its SVX2 which will have and 800hp twin turbo boxster engine and and awd system delivered from god, It will probably beat both records.
Then again so will a bunch of other cars.
Point: This whole Viper ACR vs Corvette Zr-1 thing will be relevant for about 1 year cause there will always be something faster.
You’re right, fia/imsa/aco just have it in for the viper and made the rules so everyone but dodge can win. Hell why bother even racing one then since it’s impossible to win. Maybe you and your customer should do some reasearch looking for a better platform to race like all of the other respectable teams have done.
Gee Whiz… for a bad platform, it sure wins a lot of races elsewhere? 2001/2002 is where some of the restrictions on the Viper went into effect, notice how it disappears from the winners circle in some circuits, and then reappears as a regular winner on others? Kinda funny how a car wins for years on end, and then POOF gone, while still winning everywhere else, eh? Its called advertising dollars, and if you dont think that has an impact on what kind of restrictions are placed on various cars, you have your head up your ass further than I thought. If your top spending advertisers cant win anymore, you better restrict what keeps winning over and over, or they are going to walk… with all that money… elsewhere.
Maybe there really ARE just a few that have it in for the Viper? Stranger things could happen, like you admitting that something is fishy.

personally if i was spending all that money i’d buy the viper over the corvette. why? because the viper has a more exotic feel about it. you don’t see them everywhere, there’s not a cheapy base model running around everywhere. Corvettes are all around. Go take a drive and count the corvettes and count the vipers. As far as faster and turning. How often am i gonna use either one to it’s fullest potential on the street? I still want a 93 red viper with yellow wheels so i can have two vehicles with colored factory wheels.
I would totally bang you in a red viper…
My back seat is starting to get worn
