The thing with politics is that in mot cases, you’ll never find someone who fits the bill to exactly what you want. Ron Paul and I have several views on issues and government control that are similar, and then there are some things where my views will differ.
Obviously to most on here, I am passionate about gun rights, and Ron Paul has excellent views (in my opinion) to protect our 2nd Amendment rights, and in his book Freedom Under Siege, he argued that the purpose of the Second Amendment is to “place a check on government tyranny, not to merely grant hunting rights or allow self-defense.” He goes on to say that firearms bans only keep them out of the hands of law abiding citizens, not dangerous criminals.
