The click-wheel quit on my nano, not sure which “gen” it is but it’s about 4 years old. I can’t live without this thing, I need it fixed NOW.

A new nano (without camera) is like 89 dollars at the apple.com refurb store, keep that in mind also.
dude… its a fucking 4 year old nano… with probably 2gb of storage, I am pretty sure that shit I just took has the same amount of storage space, just buy something that is still relevant.
It’s pointless to call the Apple store. If they even answer(which they don’t) they just tell you to come in for an appointment. Apparently most Apple product owners are that stupid.
For anyone that was looking for a real answer:
No, the Apple store does not sell parts. The kid I talked to must have realized there’s no way in hell I would be stupid enough to pay the money to have them fix my iPod and referenced me to eBay. OK, in fairness, he said “the internet” but was obviously talking about eBay with the way he said it. You can’t really mention ‘auction’ and ‘internet’ and not think that’s what they are talking about.
So in conclusion, the Apple store sucks but the employees are cool.
ebay has parts for cheap apple wont sell just parts unless they fix it
