That is exactly (not quite at that speed) how the bike and scooter riders in Italy ride all the time. There are no traffic lanes. they ignore lights, just crossing the fucking street is like playing frogger.

When I lived in Los Angeles I always wanted to open my door when I saw some idiot splitting lanes in traffic on the freeway…man I wanted to soooooo bad!
In LA, it’s legal for a motorcyclist to lane split at gridlock and traffic flows less than some average MPH, like 5 MPH or something.
