How trained is he? health? shots?
^ this- how house trained is he? Is he still being crated during the day? Is he up to date on his shots?

NM sorry I didn’t read the OP very well- not good with the crate… so do you let him roam the house all day?
He is crated durring the day, just doesnt like to go in, typical I guess. He is all up to date medically. he’s pretty well behaved, we just don’t want to have to tolerate him messing with our cat.
I want this dog but I have no place to keep him.
