It took a while of frequent trips to the SPCA, but I finally fell in love with the right dog.
She is a Pit mix and is about 4 months old. They didn’t have too much history on her since she was a stray, but she is incredibly well behaved. Walking with her is great. She doesn’t pay attention to other dogs and always stays right beside me. She is also house broken already. (Thank god)
The only thing we’re working on now is getting her to be more comfortable in the house. She is reaaally timid around everyone and doesn’t explore the house unless you are with her. She has to be with someone at all times. She’ll warm up eventually. At least she is really affectionate though, and that was really important for me.
What a cutie! I’d imagine it’s pretty normal for her to be timid around a new house. At least she’s more outgoing when you’re around. Says to me she really trusts you already. She likes to be with her human
