Ever since I knew I was getting a dog I’ve been watching it as much as possible. lol Most of it is common sense, but there is definitely some great info on that show.

And I’m happy to report that even after just a day and a half, she’s already starting to warm up. There are so many people in and out of my house everyday, that there is no way this dog can be anti social. So far so good. :tup:

But when 6-12 months begins, youlle get your fair share of fun. They like to forget everything and resort back to retarded for a few months. especially when spring/summer finally hits she is gunna wanna see/ and play with everything/everyone.
^^ Actually I was getting concerned about that. She does sleep quite a bit. Being outside is the only thing that gets her really excited. Good to know that it is normal. She won’t even play with toys unless there is peanut butter smeared on them. lol
She stays in the crate when no one is here. Yesterday when I took a shower and left her out, she shit and pissed in my roommates room, then went rifling through my garbage. So no more of that. lol
Throughout the day there is maybe an hour of her being in the crate. Other than that, there is always someone here to be with her.
yea, you wanna make sure that whenever your not around she is in her crate. Then when you let her out of the crate you take her right outside to the bathroom. My dog only had a couple accidents ever. I guess im lucky, but i stuck with the potty training real hard. Make sure you reward her always with a treat after she goes to the bathroom as well. Dont expect to be able to trust her out alone till atleast 1yr.
Congrats paulo, We’re going to pick up our second rescue SPCA tomorrow actually, not sure how well cookie will handle that though, she’s quite the brat LOL (the look says it all)

I would really recommend reading the Caeser Milan’s book “Caeser’s Way.” It’s not just good to learn, but it’s an interesting read. Did you know that Caeser came to the US as an illegal Mexican immigrant? He learned all his shit growing up on a farm in Mexico with packs of dogs that were treated and acted like dogs, and thus were happy and balanced.
