I’m going to have to disagree davidson. with the hood and cutout closed, it looks and sounds like any other stockish car!
well, on another note, chuck was a gentleman tonight and cleaned up my tune for a little boost and some drivability.
all i have to say is WOW. my expectations were high, but i think we managed to top my expectations! we just ran it on the gate. didnt even turn the boost controller on. The gate has a 7psi spring in it, and the boost spikes to 8-9psi. The power is unreal. It’s making more power now than it ever did on 15psi on the last setup. It drives crisp and the power is strong as hell. rather different power curve than the last setup. I am extremely pleased the way this performs. The best part about it is that i’m BARELY working the turbo. it wants more in the worst way; haven’t even reached the vacinity of the sweet spot. this, however, is more than enough power to make me happy for a long while.
thanks again goes out to my guys. JnJ for a steller engine that performs without a hiccup. Started right up, fantastic oil psi like i never had before, strong/crisp feel, great power. Chuck for some great tuning, getting this bitch running right and clean. Pat for being my right-hand-man, helping me all winter long, all the way to the end to get this bitch running. Jesse for hanging in there today, assisting chuck with the laptop even though it was the only time in my life i saw him genuinely skirred !!!
