Is the info sticker mandatory? What happens if it falls off or fades?

Is there a way to get these replaced?
I’d try a factory dealer for you make and model.
Perhaps a body shop would be able to advise you on this. I’m sure you would have to show documentation that you own the car and perhaps you could get a replacement.
No Clue… don’t think they’re mandatory…
I know I have the important one faded/gone on my Firebird… was never there when I got the car… Was Not/Am Not thrilled… (The SLP Conversion sticker is gone…)

as long as you have your VIN plate you should be fine
required for what?? if its going for a salvage inspection it must be there(one with vin on it). Otherwise i cant think of a reason you would want it.

That’s what I thought. I may try the dealer and see if I could get a replacement. Just one of those odds and ends I want to replace on the 2.
the next question would be why do you want the sticker?
Do you want to read your paint code or option code or something?
when I got pulled over last summer the cop made a huge deal bout this and started to think I stole the car

I used to work at John Holtz and we could NEVER get them. IDK why, but every time I wanted to get one for a car I was working on it didnt happen. Idk if there was too much paperwork or what but its not available for purchase. I assume maybe bc it has the vin, sort of like buying a VIN plate or buying a motorcycle frame from the dealer, it wont come with a VIN plate.

No, the sticker is legible. But one of the previous owners painted the car a different shade Red. The car is supposed to be Super Red II but it appears to be Crimson (Toyota colors). When they painted the car they removed the sticker and attempted to put the original one back on. It is there but it is all peeling up and looks like shit. I would like to replace it but if not I will pull it and stick it in the glove box so at least I still have it.
