I ran my 3 inch d/p for awhile last year and took it off for the winter now i just recently put it back on and noticed that it was hitting my tranny line when i would brake torque and it has since left an abrasion on the line,now i thought if i got new lower motor mounts this would solve the prob? Any ideas on what could be done?

it worked before: so it has to work again.
maybe the motor mount became a little lose. :dunno:
i never noticed it last year? but i never looked either,you can hear it hit when i would tromp on the gas.I have replaced my upper mounts already too? Ideas?
spacers i dunno just some guesses no clue cause my bonneville had no problem w/ clearance maybee take a hammer n push out where the pipe needs to go.
the pipe is actually a flex pipe so i couldn,t put a dent in it where it,s hitting and by spacers do you mean from the exhaust manifold ,like where the gasket is?
