Ok this is for the people who wanted a site were you can see the drift R/C cars and how to get them for now i only have the original site which is japanese. i havent read the whole site but im sure you can find something. i still searching for the sites to stores/hobby shops in toronto where you can get these. ill be updating as i find more drift rc sites… enjoy
bah…
basiclly u just get ne 1/10 touring RC from ne RC model maker, and slap on a set of “drift tires” or if u a cheap and does handy work, PCV pipes on RC rims work well too
those kits from yokomo are too $$$ and there ain’t too much part from yokomo availible in T.O…
but if u really want, i highly recommand on getting a yokomo drift series body… imo they are teh most realitic(?) body made in the market(but cost alot, avg 1/10 body cost ~$30 in T.O. and the yokomo ones cost like $70+)
as for places to get them…
top of my head(places that i went to b4)
there are 2 in pmall, one called ZZhobby in markham(Commerce Gate)
and advance hobby at midland and shepard(but they are $$$)
and AJ hobby around hwy7 and kennedy
and heres my TL-01(my tank car) that i just drifts/basher EP…
along w/ my(used to) hpi nitro
im getting the raptor helicopter soon i hope hehe gonna be fun to attache a cam at the shows
and no its not only that for drift for the hpi racing ones you need the stage D drift kit puts the motor etc in the middle so it can be more stable hehe i had 3 of them and a Revo 4X4 i love RC but im moving on to flying ones
man just go hpiracing they are awsome Gas RC cars and tons of parts at any hobby store… simple www.hobbyhobby.com place i go to they have bodies anything.
yeah, i spent tonnes of money on rcs back in the day. i still have my modded tamiya tg10. personally i like the nitro rcs but battery powered so much better for drifting. and the pcv is the way to go lol when i first wanted to try and drift mine tires werent really available. pcv works but has to go over old tires and the one from central vacum systems works well
yah RC 's are the shit. i love them always have i had 5 in total at one point and spend over 2 gs on parts shells tires rims lol etc… loved it… had to sell them… but ill be getting the raptor 30 RC heli soon thats going to be sick scale is 52 or 54" long its huge… attach a cam to it at shows and hover hehe chase cars on trak etc… woot cant wait
oh and also places to look for these as some were posted b4. hobby home is ok on younge and sheppard i belive it was but the best place where i made many visits too is rc sports on hwy7 and martingrove in woodbridge kool guys and good prices, lots of selection
yeah i meant lawsuits cuz of lookin down at women lol i was kiddin . that video is insane though i would have crashed on the lift already lol nice vid though
that rc heli is CRAZY!!
but ya rc drift cars would be fun too. and probably alot easier to control.
ive been wanting a rc car for awhile now but would only have enough money for a cheap crappy one, so ive been holding it off.
