Just lately, i bought myself an electric drift spec R/C car. After having tons of fun, i’m left wondering who else out their has them. I know there’s got to be a bunch of people interested in R/C Drifting due to the amount of people that like to drift real cars.
So let’s see what people have. Feel free to post pics, comments, and spec’s of you cars.
Depending on interests, maybe we can set up some R/C drift meet or even set something up at a real son240sx meet.
Heres what i have:
My starting car :Day 1
Tuborg(after rx7 was totaled): Day 2 (Tuborg is better than one)
Subaru WRX: Day 3
To be amazed, check out youtube.com R/C drift vids.
i got a tamiya with a couple different body styles … i think a skyline, evo, sti and some lambos… i dunno i was into it when i was in highschool and couldnt afford real cars
Ye these are expensive but cheaper then insurance on a real car. Or for me, own both and drift both. they are good head turner in the parking lot.
For around $400 + a case of tuborg beer, you can have everything in my pics. I bought a Tamiya drift spec rx7 w/ led tt-01d to start from Advance hoobbies.

Anyone know where I can get a model car of a 180sx or 240?!!
Same here, but im looking for just the body. no one seems to carry it around Toronto. I found some for $70 online but thats a lot when you still have to pay boarder charges.
Also, those shifter carts look sweet! probably cost a fortune.
I honestly plan on buying one for the future. That shit is maaad tight
Also, I would have soo gotten into the whole R/C scene… but as a youngster … i feel as if it’s a bit played out (for me). I like toys that I can ride in lol.
I pussied out and bought the “put it together yourself” models instead:o
lol ok 3-5k is a little far out of my range. for that much i can buy a real paint job for my 240sx, or buy a 240 that in good condition and doesn’t need fixing. lol
