$60? really? I’m no pro and no offence but that’s a high price for your quality of shooting. Making money off these events, I don’t know how Wayne would feel about this or if he cares at all. shrugs
Kris, just a little suggestion - stop posting photos that are blurry and out of focus.
no affence to you cadence… but go ask a professional photographer what he would sell a raw file for. example, my friend in toronto is running a company and he sells one single raw file for $140, just shooting that out there… shits not cheap
well…the photos are on the net for free. nothing wrong with trying to make a little money either, considering sunday was pretty much like a full day of work for me, not to mention sifting through hundreds of photos as fast as i can to put them on the internet so you can all see. takes hours. and yeah, some of the photos are blurry, because some have been zoomed in or cropped in photoshop so i could fit the frame with action.
people want pictures for free, i post them. you want to pay for one, pay for one.
No disrespect to anyone but ya some of the pics were a BIT blurry, but they were ALL still good shots. Thanks again Kris.

Great video, you need 2 thing imo. Mind you i’m not videographer but…
Better camera (cause your shots look good but camera seems to be limiting you)
Less slo-mo.
I put it together for fun.im no pro film maker.but thanks for your suggestions.wish i had the money to upgrade.
Host your photos on Flickr instead of Photobucket!
Made a separate thread for photos… not that I’m special or anything I just like to be organized. Keep drifting fun!

Oh these ones are free. lol
flickr eh.
I understand the process man, if they’re blurry why bother posting or even uploading, trust me I’ve shot 2k worth of photos only to come out with 100 ones I thought were worth posting/uploading/editing.
“A full days worth of work” ? who’s paying you to do this? If it feels like work maybe you shouldn’t do it.
I do it for fun when I can make it out. Yes I will put in many hours also editing and sorting do I complain? no. Why do I do it? For the scene, for fun, for practice. Do I know any of the people I shoot ? nope.
project 240sx - yes I know I came off a bit harsh but I’ve seen a lot of professional photography, I’m constantly following blogs, etc. and this isn’t professional photography.
Exactly why I shoot, I know I work for AMF but my photos aren’t nearly as good as any other professional photographers. I do it because I love it, I love the scene its just fun to be out there sitting on corners and have cars fly by you haha.
exactly. I’m not saying however that a group like AMF shouldn’t pay their photographers or charge because they actually have a real business-type setup going. Selling stickers, vendor booths, sponsor cars, etc.
The thing about all these people picking up “prosumer” DSLR’s and dumping money into them and then taking effortless bad quality photos, calling themselves photographers or “whateveryournameis photography” and trying to charge for them are really taking away from the real professionals who know exactly what they’re doing, they’re getting paid for it and need it to make a living, and that really bothers me. I’m not trying to target anyone in specific by saying this, it’s just a trend I’ve noticed.
The affordable prosumer DSLRs are GREAT for people who pick it up for a hobby or just use it for taking pics of their life, trips, family, etc. but just because you shoot with a DSLR does NOT make you a photographer, otherwise everyone on facebook/flickr is a photographer.

Not saying anyone here isn’t a photographer… Just definitely not a pro photog. I don’t agree with charging for event photos at that level. Unless you’ve got yourself a Nikon D3s attached to a 300mm f2.8 slung over your shoulder with a D700 backup with some pro lenses in your bag, you really shouldn’t have the authority to say your photos are worth anything. Keep it fun… just like drifting.
Let the guy do what he wants, whoever wants to pay for his photos will pay and i’m pretty sure 99.9% will just pm or email him asking for copies anyways.
Needs moar Purple 240?? prease lol
