what if I started drinking outside of social events. Just sat around and drank while I watched TV. Eventually I would become an alcoholic and start skipping work to stay home and drink. I fuck up my life cause of drinking and it all started from just a few nights of drinking…is that cool?

That would contradict ‘not hurting yourself’.
