DSLR

hey gents,

looking to try out an entry level DSLR again. I had a D40S a couple years back but never really used it and sold it. looking for something in that range again since i have no clue how to make full use of these things. I just find myself occasionally wanting to take a better picture that my point and shoots can offer.

would love throw some parts at it (trade) to make it a bit cheaper too. I also have a $100 Future Shop gift card that i was thinking of using to go new but meh…

please be in touch

Bing there was a guy on here selling his D5000 for around 400 thats a great price for it. I have the same camera and it works great ! i love it. if you want to try mine out to see if you like it your more then welcome to…

he sold it.

Whats your budget? D90 is a solid performer in the $600 range used. D300 sits at around $800-1000 used right now, and is great. If youre looking into nikon, I would recommend the 60D (I think its also called the T3 iirc). If youre interested in something a little different, Pentax offers the K5 and it is a wicked body!

i want to spend as little as possible on something i can flip and not lose any dollars on if i get bored again.

i missed a D50 for under $300 on nyspeed last week… something like that would be fine.

is a Sony A200 kit for under $300 a good deal?

stay away from Sony, if you want to flip in the future. . . go canon or nikon, these are what camera brands most ppl search for to buy and they sell fast. i might be getting a d7100 in a week or 2 if your interested my d5000 might be up for grabs, fresh cleaning at henrys and standard 18-55mm lens and 2 batteries and ill toss in a 2gb card for 500

do not want unless you wannt trade for parts

^ lol no dice Bing. I want $ to put towards a MacBook pro lol
