I read you have to remove the entire wiring harness off the dsm and wire it on teh 240sx , almost the same amount of work as hooking up a motec system or standalone . You have to run every wire to the car such as knock , temp sensor , cam sensor , speed sensor and some to the dash ect … Pretty much every wire comming out of the ecu has to go somewhere

welcome to 8 months ago, its been done many times so far , actually one of my dsm buddys wants me to use his talon computer in my car cuz he already has it setup to tune with the dsm link software
Hmm, sounds interesting, personally if I was going to rewire the car I would just go for a megasquirt stand alone setup. Its hella cheap, you make it yourself and its more versitle than most of the stand alones out there. Yes you have to do a little bit of modification to work on the KA but It is well worth it. I wanted to run it on a SR but with the direct ignition you would have to do allot more work to get it to run.
Also, it looks like this guy changed his ignition too, looks like a direct sr type in the pics. That turbo looks like its gonna suck you in hahaha.
