so im almost done collecting all my parts for my ka-t build.

i was looking into ecu’s (keep in mind i know nothign of electronics)

i have a 98 ka24de motor, tranny, and harness.

i saw a few ecu’s that were reflashed to my setup but they’re sr ecu’s.

can i use this? if so how much work would be required and what would i need to wire it up? woudl i need an sr harness?

JWT has reflashed ECU’s for KA.

or go standalone.

you can use a sr20det ecu, but you will aslo need the sr harness and distributor and coil packs. this is not a easy task as you have to modify the distributor and other minor things.

you can also use a 95 and under ka ecu but your harness will need to be rewired.

i personally would go with the 95 and under ka ecu with a bikirom board because it will cost you less then the other setups and you have tunability under your full control.

Either way i can do all of these options for you if your interested. i can also supply you with more info it needed.
