If I had empty beds I would let a few people stay with me … but I don’t
the marriot comes to like 140 a night pretty good price and they dont really care about loudness either at least not any of the times ive gone down there free enclsed secure parking included with this price there is also a valet for 10 bux i think…good hotel to stay at though.
That’s retarded. What sort of charges can add almost 150% onto the original price? :o
Ya, I’m tempted to just book there, because I’ve stayed there too, and the parking was alright. A little far away, but alright. I just figured that there had to be cheaper places, but seems like the this might be the best bet.

Maybe he added on the entertainment for that night!! :girl
LOL
Im staying at the Marriot regardless of where everyone else stays.
If you book with the Marriot and say that it’s business related you should get an automatic discount. I know we booked a hotel in Vancouver the same way and got the price dropped from ~$160/night to $94/night. Just tell them that you need 7 or 8 hotel rooms for a group of Edmonton business people down for a conference and you’ll be good to go.
K, I’ll phone in the morning. I’ll ask for 7 rooms, but ask if we can give or take some when we get there.
Aaron,
I don’t get it. How can the BW nightly rate be $82.55 +tax, but then at the end it’s $196.86. What are these other charges? Was it for only 1 night or was it for 2 nights? Double occupancy? What?
I’m still thinking of staying at the Quality Inn for $84/night. The Marriot at $140/night is a little steep. The money you save in the room charge would more than cover the taxi costs…
Where is the Marriot? Is it located right down town or is it out of the way? What is the parking like?
She said per night. I confirmed that statement, and she repeated.
The Mariot is right downtown, in front of the tower. They have a large parkade down the street for their guest. It’s a little bit of a walk, but the parkade looks good.
I’ll phone them today.

Dude you just walk through the building and across the street. Anyways find out what kind of rate they can give.
K, I reserved 9 rooms at the Marriott downtown. It came to $129/night plus tax. We can cancel or add rooms up until 6pm of the day we arrive.
When we get there. People have to group themselved into who they want to stay with, and then fire that room onto their credit card, so everthing is divided up.
Parking is $16/night, but we can possibly deal with them on that one, because we will have so many cars in there. This can also be split with those that have their cars in the show.
We will have to ask about Cots.
So, 3 people per room @ $138.03 is $46.01/perpson/room. Not too bad.
$16 per night for parking? The last 4 times i went there that was included for $139 per night. Weird maybe you just get one stall per room.
Paying for parking! That’s crazy talk…
I don’t think I’m interested in either the BW or Marriott for those prices. I’ll stick with the Quality Inn because it’s cheap and close to the venue.
Hey, can we party in your room? I’ll bring the cocktails…
Well so long as we get 3 people per room it shouldn’t be too bad.
I think that we could fit the whole club in my truck if we wanted to, hehehe.
is there room for a keg in the back? lol :partyman:
Several…dozen that is. :E
This road trip sounds better and better all the time!!
I might have to work… :anal
Ya, he said that we may be able to deal with the parking. He wasn’t located at that hotel, but rather a Marriott headquarters type deal somewhere else. We will see.
Darcy, we’ll see what we are doing that night, whether we are drinking in the room or going out, we’ll see. Still cruisin down with us though?
