BMW really should make a 600SS.
why bother? the sk1000 is already lighter then my 600. personally If they made a 600 I’d just go for the Sk1000rr with all the bells and whistles.:dunno
But it is a another market they could dominate.
imagine how light they could make a 600 :excited
also with a 600 you can get a shorter wheelbase than you ever could on a 1000, because of the length of the engine and also because of the length of the swingarm
but from a financial standpoint a 600 isn’t worth the effort. they cost almost the same amount to build as a 1000 but have to be priced $$$$'s less in order to sell
Exactly, also when you think about it whats the most common cc bike on most city streets 1000cc’s or over. BMW knows they are in the sweet spot, also with talk of them coming to GP in 2014… I doubt they are to worried about the 600cc market.
About BMW going to GP. I have a crazy theory about BMW is in talks with BS and have him help develop a GP bike in 13 and ride for them in 14.
