Dui

You are missing the point. After 2 drinks at dinner most people can function fine but if you go through a check point and are under .08 you can still get fined…

how so?

wouldn’t the entire purpose of a legal limit be to SET A LEGAL LIMIT?

you don’t get speeding tickets for doing 48 in a 55.

Read your chart again with the light blue. They don’t post that shit on there if it never happens.

And actually smart ass, on the PA turnpike you can get a ticket for going 45 or under.

I’d imagine the light blue means that if you were doing something stupid, they’d tack on the intox… like if you ran over a group of nuns biting each other’s clits or something.

that’s irrelevant to the analogy; they don’t hand out tickets for not being drunk enough.

um yeah they do thats the point :ugh2:

i’m finished with this thread, because you’re dumb.

sorry.

Hey mike I have seen this shit happen in the field. How about this fucked up situation for you. Person gets hit from behind, other persons fault, person we take in the car that got hit gets a ticket for being under the influance yet wasn’t at .08 (they took the person’s blood at the hospital).

Now explain that one?

Do you think I make shit up just to argue with your stupid ass? Christ are you the idiot.

Not sure if PA has this but I’ve seen different charges for the different acronyms: DWI = Driving while Impaired, DUI= Driving Under the Influence and DWI=again for driving while intoxicated.

I am pretty sure you could be charged for Driving while Impaired if your BAC is less than the blue shaded area and this happens just after 24 oz of beer. I would imagine that if there were enough goofy circumstances going on at the time of getting stopped they could tack this one on as well.

If your BAC is in the blue area you could be charged for DUI. More stiff penalties etc. More likely to get this one for some stupid driving or a checkpoint.

The Driving while INtoxicated really fucks up your day. You are most certainly over the legal limit. And while “I only had 2 beers officer” might sound good, it doesn’t apply to drinking 2 40s.

I saw enough troops go down for this kind of shit in ten years and it really does make life difficult. Especially if you need a drivers license to work or get to work.

no your just dumb this shit doesn’t exisit…

An alcohol awareness class and there they make you go to 7 aa/na meetings. BUT it depends upon the BAL on which class you have to take, different cirruculum/length of class the higher the BAC or if you’ve been before, the worse it is.
