Duke Nukem Forever *Now For Sale May 3rd 2011!*

Thankfully 3d realms sold Max Payne to rockstar!

Holy cool, I had no idea they were making this. Cliffs in what happened in MP2? I never got around to playing it

basically he has like hitmen after him and then gets kidnapped and then falls in love with some other broad, basically MP is all about the action. but mp3 is coming. but its SUCH a letdown that DNF is done for.

He was such a sexist. Im going to miss him.

Looks like we will need to go around shooting hookers in honor of him.

So in MP2 he wasen’t killed? Someone told me the bitch backstabbed him and he died

At the mansion, Mona knocks Max to the ground in an attempt to follow her orders to kill him, but discovers that her feelings for him keep her from doing so. Lem shoots Mona after realizing that she will not kill Max. Woden then appears in a wheelchair, and lunges at Lem; Woden is killed during the ensuing struggle. Max and Lem then begin to fight, until Lem triggers a bomb that he planted in the mansion. After they both drop to the floor below, Max pursues Lem through the mansion. Max faces Lem in a firefight, and eventually destabilizes the platform below Lem, causing it to fall to the floor below and killing Lem. Max returns to Mona’s side as the police arrive, and she dies in his arms; however, if the game is completed at its highest difficulty level, Mona survives. [5]

Ha who did not see this coming?

your all wrong!!!

The great vaporware saga of Duke Nukem looks to be coming to a close. At PAX this morning, 2K and Gearbox turned gamers loose on the first stage of Duke Nukem Forever. Let me repeat that for the non-believers: Duke Nukem Forever is real and it is an actual playable game. I half-expect to now to see Sasquatch walking down Pike Street in downtown Seattle.

Before getting hands-on time with Duke Nukem Forever, Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford talked to us about how Gearbox became a part of the Duke saga. After some persuasion, Gearbox was offered the keys to the beleaguered game (it has existed in the ether in one form or another for over a decade) and Pitchford jumped at the chance. “To us, it felt like Duke can’t die,” said Pitchford. The Gearbox boss also related his wife’s insistence that he take up Duke’s cause and that if he succeeded in making it happen, she’d give him – and this a direct quote – a “Chilean Miner.” She would “go down the shaft and stay 'til Christmas.”

Uh. Anyway.

The trailer shows off Duke in fine form, giving alien ass with a variety of his best weapons, like the shrink ray, freeze ray, and devastator. It looks like the aliens Duke punished before are back – and they are here for our women. This personal affront to Duke leads him on a mission to kill everything in his way, including a giant alien queen with three breasts. And in typical Duke fashion, after seeing the entirety of this tri-boobed enemy, the hero quips, “Hell, I’d still hit it.”

At the conclusion of the trailer, a woman remarks to Duke that his new adventure looks great “Yeah, but after twelve f—ing years, it should be,” he responds as the logo – and icons for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC – slam into place below it.

After the trailer, we were ushered into a gameplay area full of Duke kiosks for a fifteen-minute hands-on session. No guided tour. Just get in there and see for myself that this Great White Whale is finally being harpooned. Though Duke Nukem Forever was running on a PC, I played with an Xbox 360 controller.

Yay!!!

Publisher 2K announced every copy of Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition, which ships next Tuesday, comes with a free membership certificate for the Duke Nukem Forever First Access Club.

This membership gives players access to “exclusive items,” including an early playable demo of Duke Nukem Forever before it’s public release.

2K did not say when the demo would be available, only confirming it’ll be out “prior to the retail launch of the game,” which is still marked for calendar year 2011.

Borderlands Game of the Year Edition ships on October 12 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. The pack includes all four downloadable add-ons: The Zombie Island or Dr. Ned, Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot, The Secret Armory of General Knoxx, and Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution.
