Tractor trailers in the west i are required to carry chains for the mountains. The Owner Operators are the ones usually dumb enough to do it.
Company drivers just call dispatch and say it’s too dangerous.
Now for auto chains. wouldn’t be able to mount anywhere on the tractor.
then again i never paid much attention, I refuse to chain. not worth my life to go up a mountain and not be able to stop on the other side
