is it only for lapping, or can we drift as well?

I prefer for it to be pure grip as drifters tend to throw a lot of crap on the track surface.
the r comp guys get really pissed really fast.
maybe i will have a dedicated drift day soon.

ok, this is my last shot at this:
I understand that full out drifting during a lapping day would be retarded and very inconvenient for other drivers. However, i know for sure that my tail comes out during hard braking or cornering - thats how i’ve set it up. But I can still do a full out time attack on the course, but just incorperate mild oversteer in certain corners, you know, Initial D style…

Yey or Ney ?

i would also consider coming to this if the response is yes

Guys just come out… Derek is a really cool guy (in case you haven’t met him!) and hes very understanding of peoples driving. I was also worried about this but on some turns around the track you can’t help but let your ass slide out a bit.

Nobody seemed to get mad at that… people got a little frustrated when guys tried to full out drift and just kicked up dirt and crap all over the track when they went off-roading, but even then it was forgiven!

FR, i say we both hit up this event (since we are the only ones inquring about sliding) and we can give feedback on how dunnville is.

ive seen videos of it and the runoff is somewhat ok. i saw walter sliding a lot at the july 28th event. was that frowned upon? he spun out a few times, did anyone give him shit for it?

btw, how far is dunnville from mississauga?

walter sprayed the corners with graval when he went off.
completly covering the line.

i dont care if you drift, just dont fcuk up the line.

also if you are drifting just remember that the guys goin grip are goin much faster and will close in on you fast

thats pretty understanding and sounds good to me. how far is dunnville from mississauga? and how are the changes to the track?? better runoffs?

sorry for all the questions. hopefully they can be answer

thanks

I’m in. Lapping is great fun, and it would be nice to try out a new course. The price can’t be beat either. And I’m more than willing to keep my driving style in check to ensure everyone has a good time.

(Dip, if the map is correct then, from London, I can take HWY 17 from Cayuga into Dunville right? And check the PM I sent you…)

personally I have no problems with the drift guys, they have all been good at letting the grip guys buy. the only thing I would suggest is if you spray the track with gravel, then go into the pits and go sweep up your mess. it can be a pain for the grip guys when you are on you line with speed and see abunch of gravel …

besides that the events have been great dips doing a good job…

does the track provide brooms? if not I can bring one… I live about 20 minutes away…
